Courtney is a designer and lifelong creator living and working in Queensbury, NY. A painter at heart, she studied Studio Arts at The College of Saint Rose. She approaches interior design with an artist’s point of view, regarding each room as its own composition that calls for balance, contrast, and movement. While working with clients, she loves encouraging playfulness, and pulling from each individual’s personality to assist them in curating a space that is distinctly theirs. She embraces all aesthetic motifs from Elevated Adirondack to Moody Maximalism and loves a new challenge. Her process is one of building layers of textures and colors with the end result of a dynamic, unique final masterpiece that her clients get to call home. When she’s not in the showroom, Courtney can be found in her home working away at a DIY project, taking care of her two feline companions, and painting in her studio.

“Clients looking for timeless, yet cutting-edge designs enjoy my vision and direction in creating a home atmosphere that matches their lifestyle”
After 35 years in fashion management design, I found my true passion to create interior living spaces that tell a story about who my clients. To make everyone who visits their new space, feel at home and welcome.
Interior design is in the eye of the beholder, whether it is simple and functional, eclectic, modern or just “unexpected”.
Michele is a natural at making her clients’ vision come to life. If a space she has worked on brought joy and peace to her clients, she has done her job.
When Michele is not at The Furniture House, she can be found in her “happy place” at her own home in her flower garden, antiquing or spending time with her husband.
I approach interior design for my customers by listening to them. Then I add the elements ( texture, line shape, color, etc.) and principals of design ( harmony, rhythm, emphasis, balance, etc.).
We work together to create a whole work of art, not just a room. So whether one is rustic, industrial, traditional, modern, contemporary or eclectic, I can help create one’s style. I particularly like to solve tough problems!
